Civil Engineering Foreman

Your Role:

Whether you already have experience in supervision or you wish to progress to a foreman role, your role will be to support and guide teams on the ground, while developing your skills in site management. You will work under the supervision of the existing Foreman, who will act as a mentor to guide you and help you become a reference in the field of civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and planning of work before its execution;
• Carry out preliminary site visits to verify the information provided by the project manager;
• Maintain a link with clients, act as the first point of contact in case of issues on the sites;
• Collaborate closely with project managers on different contracts;
• Supervise, guide and manage teams during the execution of work;
• Ensure the smooth running of work in accordance with schedules, working methods and instructions;
• Participate in weekly planning meetings.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in civil engineering (as an operator, laborer or surveyor);
• Holding an AEC or DEC in civil engineering will be considered an asset;
• Leadership, good sense of organization and ability to work in a team;
• Good communication skills with teams and clients;
• Desire to learn and evolve towards a key role within the company.
